OVERLAND PARK, Kan., February 17, 2015 – MIQ Logistics is pleased to announce that Denisse Gutierrez has joined its Sales team as Business Development manager for the Los Angeles area. Located in Gardena, Calif., Gutierrez has responsibility for strategic account development and new business efforts.
“Denisse brings a wealth of operational experience into her new sales role” says John Carr, president and chief executive officer, MIQ Logistics. “She can tackle logistical challenges with the in-depth knowhow which keeps her customers’ global supply chains moving smoothly and cost effectively.” Carr explains that Gutierrez has ten-years experience in air and ocean importing and most recently served on the company’s team for comprehensive International Supply Chain services.
Gutierrez joined the Operations unit within MIQ Logistics six years ago, with responsibilities for international freight forwarding. Prior to that, she was with Savino Del Bene, a worldwide freight forwarder headquartered in Florence, Italy. Gutierrez is fluent in Spanish.
