In this position, he is responsible for maintaining tenders (formal offers) and pricing for government agencies. Logan is based out of the company’s facility in the Washington, D.C. area.
“Scott has 23 years of logistics experience, much of it in global services, and a strong foreign military sales background,” says Joey Carnes, chairman and chief executive officer-MIQ Logistics. “Without a doubt, his understanding of government shipping requirements will help us grow this important business segment and he makes a great addition to our dedicated government logistics team.”
Logan has extensive knowledge of government policies and regulations, in addition to communications and experience with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security, U.S. Census Bureau, and the Transportation Security Administration. He also holds Defense Security Service clearance up to and including the secret level.
